About Us

Gurdy Run Woolen Mill has been opened since 2001. We offer custom spun yarns, carded rovings and batts, needled felt and knitted product. We have the machinery and experience to process fiber from 3.5 to 10 inches in length and can handle fine wools to long wools. We have processed blends of wool, mohair, angora, alpaca, llama, yak, camel, cashmere, dog, silk, bamboo, linen, nylons etc. We have fibers available for blending. We have worked with flock owners, fiber artists and fashion designers. Contact us to discuss your fiber processing needs.

On site we have a mill store that sells yarns, core spun rug yarns, rovings, felt and knitted products made from fiber from our animals. We also carry the complete line of Kromski Spinning wheels and looms, Clemes and Clemes hand cards and niddy noddies, Denise interchangeable knitting needles and Cushing dyes. Inventory is constantly changing, so stop in to see what we have or visit us at the fiber shows we vend at.
